to learn about my interviewee's opinion about the US education system
to learn about my interviewee's point of view about the US in general
to educate myself about the target culture
to learn to talk with strangers comfortably.
to share about their difficulties been away from home

Your goals seem valid to me, Galkuu, but they are not in the order of your work. Would you learn about the interviewee's culture after points 1,2, and 3? Or would you study up before and learn more details in the interview?
ReplyDeletecheers

your objectives seem to be good, but like our teacher said i would change the order of your objectives around.
ReplyDeleteGood objectives. And I like the last one the most because the difficulties are the main reason that would make an international decide whether they want to always be here in the U.S., or if they want to go back to their home country.
ReplyDelete-Mohammed.
You came up with pretty good questions, I like that. Besides you are including the interviewee's ideas about the US too which would depict the whole new point of view about the US.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up!

You have clear ideas about what you want to know from the interview but you should add more preparation about how to condct a successful interview to your interview's objectives first.
ReplyDeleteYour objective are well thought but you need to add how you're going to do the interview. good job
ReplyDeleteI like your objectives and your interest in learning about another culture, but you may want to add your steps for the interviewing process.
ReplyDeleteadd more ideas.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to be more specific when you are going to ask about the students point of view about the U.S.
ReplyDeleteit will be difficult to get a response from the interviewee about the education system here since they have only experienced our education system at the college level
ReplyDeleteGood objectives but you may want to figure out how you are going to make sure that the interview goes smoothly as well as having good content.
ReplyDeletegood work. And i think those questions should be more specific so that you could focus on the how one culture differs to another. Yours are too broad to answer, and hard to analyze in the report.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Krebs. You might want to be more specific about the education system idea. Maybe you can ask how different his/her college system is from ours here. Good luck! :D
ReplyDeleteYour objectives are a nice start but need to be more in depth to get more out of the interview.
ReplyDeleteGood objectives so far, but you will probably want to include more details on how you will prepare for, and conduct your interview.
ReplyDeleteThey are good, but they need to go more in depth. For example, say how you plan on setting this up, where you conduct the interview, and maybe discuss how you will write your paper. Other than just you learning, would you like the interviewee to learn something as well from this?
ReplyDeleteto learn another culture and making some more friends are exactly what we want from this interview. Your objectives are right on these.
ReplyDeleteI think that the ones that you have listed are good for during the interview but you need to have some preparation steps. You also should have some objectives of what you plan to do after the interview.
ReplyDeleteI think the you are on the right track, but need to prepare the interview better. Once you have done this and also add some questions that gather information i feel you will have a successful interview.
ReplyDeleteYour objectives are very to the point. Best of luck for your presentation.
ReplyDeleteHope you do well.
